It’s been over a decade since the first edition of the Kansas Trail Guide: The Best Hiking, Biking, and Riding in the Sunflower State came out, and with all the new trails out there, including a couple new state parks, it was time to dust off our hiking boots and GPS devices to update the book.

With dozens of new maps, pictures, and trails highlighted, we’re excited that that second edition will be available to purchase starting in March 2027!

It’s been a long time coming, and we’re excited to share all the new trails that we’ve come to know and love. We’ll be coming out with our gift guide soon (a pre-order of the book would fit in anyone’s stocking!), and we’re looking forward to connecting with anyone who already loves the trails of Kansas as well as hopefully shedding some light on some places you haven’t tried out yet.
